Unless you’ve been living on a different planet, you witnessed the emotional train wreck, that was Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe crowning announcement slip-up on December 20, when he presented Miss Colombia the crown even though Miss Philippines was the winner of the pageant. After apologizing several times on Twitter after the show, Steve is now moving forward to the next stage of Live Television Error grieving: jokes!

“Merry Easter, y’all!” he tweeted with three Christmas tree emojis. The tweet is funny because it’s Christmas, not Easter. It’s also funny because with the joke he tweeted a photo of himself living his best life - by a pool in a T-shirt, smoking a cigar in late December. The tweet has more than 130,000 retweets in just three hours of its been online.
