All of them looked absolutely amazing, but our Top 8 favourites from Supermodel International 2020 National Costumes are –

Sayuri Jayarathne representing Sri Lanka

The amazing beauty, Sayuri portrayed the culture of Sri Lanka which mixes modern elements with traditional aspects and is known for its regional diversity. Sri Lankan culture has long been influenced by the heritage of Theravada Buddhism passed on from India, and the religion's legacy is particularly strong in Sri Lanka's southern and central regions. This was witnessed in the diva’s headwear, the Buddhist designs. South Indian cultural influences are especially pronounced in the northernmost reaches of the country. The diva successfully showcased through her national costume, the values and cultural integrity which is the heart of the country.

All of these people are united by calling South Africa home, and therefore their lives all contribute to forming a part of the country’s heritage, identity and culture. The diva effectively portrayed the splendidness of the rainbow country.
