18 years old, Sylviane Leloum representing the region of Logone Occidental won the national beauty title of "Miss Tchad 2016". The national pageant organized by the Ministry of Culture was broadcasted live nationally on ORNTV.

Sylviane Leloum will now support many significant social projects during her reign. She is also entitled to be an ambassador of Toyota Yaris. The beauty pageant, Miss Chad first organized screenings in twenty-three regions, before allowing the ladies to compete nationally.

Leloum Sylviane who hails from Occidental possesses a very endearing dimpled smile, and is extremely good in the communications and interview sessions. The newly crowned beauty queen will receive a monthly salary of 500,000 CFA francs for the official sponsor of the pageant, Airtel, alongside a luxury accommodation. The runner ups of the pageant will receive 250,000 FCFA salaries per month. Leloum Sylviane is rumored to work on a social project against early marriage and Obstetric Fistula in Chad in the Beauty with a Purpose project for Miss World 2016.
