Miss World is few hours far from getting wrapped up! It has been a month since Miss World kicked off and now it’s on the verge of concluding up. While the organization declared the results of Talent and Sports Round, the results of other rounds will be announced tonight in the coronation gala, unlike last year whereby everybody was aware of Top 5 finalists of each segment. Rolene Strauss will crown her successor at the end of the event tonight in Sanya, China. After amalgamating our experts’ opinions, we have come up with our 25 favorites for the Miss World crown, which have been consistently awe-inspiring us with their performances. Have a look!
Miss World Argentina, Daniela Miron was quite confident about her Beauty with a Purpose project even before she entered the pageant. She believes that the social commitment shown by the organization has struck her most and she will deliver her best to get her spot!
Miss World Austria, Annika Grill has a pulsating personality with modest aura. Annika has studied Fashion & Clothing Design, before focusing on Fashion Marketing. The modeling and styling experiences helped her to land in the Top 30 finalists of Top Model Round, which is a key feature of judging a Miss World participant after “Beauty with a Purpose” segment. Annika has a mild pageant experience as she competed in Miss Grand Universe 2011, where she was not placed. This experience has helped her to surmount her shortcomings and there she is ready to give a sturdy fight for Miss World 2015 crown.
Miss World Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marijana Markovic like her predecessor placed at Top Model Round and Best Designer Dress segment. The country won the Top Model round last year and we believe this year will surely guarantee a placement to Marijana!
Miss World Brazil, Catharina Choi Nunes is a star! Winning Miss Earth Fire at Miss Earth 2013 is not a cakewalk, when there are incredibly strong contestants in the race. Catharina is an intelligent woman and has a very substantial personality to get noticed. The soft Korean features and sensational Brazilian aura makes her a stand out in the crowd! She is also a Top 30 finalist of Top Model Round, Designer Dress and Multimedia and is hence locked in the race for the crown.
Miss World Colombia, Maria Alejandra has an exquisite beauty! Lopez Maria’s fans are somewhat disappointed by her exclusion from the Top 30 finalist of the Top Model Round but not to worry, she is saving all her charisma for the real deal. Maria is an extremely altruistic person by heart. She aspires to develop low cost medicines for the underprivileged and impoverished people. Her “Beauty with a Purpose” project will revolve around the same issue, and we all know that BWAP weighs 50% of scores in the final judgment, so do not undervalue this living Barbie!
Miss World Cyprus, Rafaela Charalampous is a serene personality! Rafaéla is a nurse by profession, residing in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. Living her whole life in the city, Rafaéla qualified in 2014, and is pursuing a Masters’ degree in Nursing to further her skills and occupation opportunities. One of Rafaéla’s dreams is to work on television, and she hopes she can break into the industry in the future. She is very confident and we think she can make the cut.
Miss World Czech Republic, Andrea Kalousova is a psychology student. Andrea lives in Jablonné nad Orlicí, a town in the central Pardubice Region of Czech Republic. Andrea has ambitions of furthering her education, gaining a degree in Psychology, before embarking on a career as a life coach. Recounting herself as ‘good natured, endearing and eager to learn’, she likes to help others and wants to teach others to help themselves. Interning as a nurse, she also has some basic medical qualifications. With those philanthropic experiences, she can go far!
Miss World Ecuador, María Camila’s passion lies in social work. Taking part in various initiatives since a young age has been her keen concentration. She is also a creative personality, enjoying handicraft and jewellery making for many years. She loves to play basketball, and likes to take part in traditional dances from her province when the occasion arises. She is in our watch list.
Miss World Finland, Carola Miller can bring Finland back to its golden era! A balanced budget amendment by profession, Carola describes herself as ‘kind, loyal and ambitious’. With a degree in Marketing, Logistics & Entrepreneurship she wants to start her own business in the future. A voyager, she loves to travel and wants to see as much of the world as possible. Carola is also a performance artist, with 10 years of gymnastics, 5 years of ballet and 4 years of theatre under her belt already. She also plays the piano, and is a fan of calming classical music. A very talented personality, she is bound to make waves!
Miss World France, Hinarere Taputu, who holds both the titles of Miss Tahiti and Miss France, describes herself as a determined individual who never gives up. Born and raised in Tahiti, she has spent her life enclosed by water and is accomplished at wakeboarding, kite surfing and paddle boarding, all very demanding sports. Having studied at the VATEL International Business School, she has ambitions of working in the hospitality industry, and aspires to be the General Manager of a major hotel one day. Aside from water sports, Hinarere spends her free time trekking, reading and practicing her photography. She is a smart player, and will create waves in the finale!
Miss World India, Aditi Arya is a very saccharine personality. Aditi has been associated with NGOs like Protsahan, Amitasha and Blackboard Foundation, which strive to assist impoverished children by educating them through digital media and vocational training. Currently, Aditi is also known as the Women and Child Health Development Ambassador of Haryana and is working on the Anganwadi upliftment for her Beauty with a Purpose project at Miss World 2015. She is certainly in the league of a great placement.
Miss World Mexico, Yamelin Ramirez Cota is a lovely delegate! Yamelin Cota describes herself as ‘intense’ and ‘tenacious.’ Yamelin loves challenges, and is always goaded to do her best. She esteems playing sports, and can often be found swimming and practicing various athletics disciplines. Her aspiration is to break into TV once her studies have finished, but she would also love to run her own restaurant, and expects that both can come true in the future. She loves to play the guitar, to read, and to spend time with her family. She is in our watch list.
Miss World Myanmar, Khin Yadanar Thein Myint was born and raised in Mandalay, a city in central Myanmar and a cultural and economical hub. Studying German at Mandalay University and receiving a diploma in Tourism Management, Khin Yadanar works as a tour guide in her city, but has aspirations of a career in travel journalism, which would combine all her passions; travel, photography and learning about the world. In her spare time, she likes to swim, to hike and to practice Shan martial arts. Being a traditional yet revolutionary woman, she might take the nods of judges in the coronation gala.
Miss World Panama, Diana Jaen Ortega is a Law & Political Science graduate. With a strong sense of responsibility towards her community, Diana works as a PR officer & lawyer for the Ayudando a Vivar Foundation, an organization which provides a range of services for susceptible women and youths in her community. Diana enjoys singing, drawing and playing the piano, and also holds a deep interest in active pursuits such as yoga, travelling and sports. She has the shot of making the cut.
Miss World Philippines, Hillarie Danielle Parungao is a pleasant delegate. Philippines seems quite determined in its quest for a good placement at Miss World. Having participated in Miss Asia Pacific already, where she finished as the runner up, Hillarie’s experience, confidence and vivaciousness are her biggest assets. A captivating and pleasing personality, she is certainly an upgrade from the last year. She is now Top 30 in Talent Round and Top 30 of Top Model Round along with Top 10 of Multimedia Round, with these accolades, she has locked her place in the coronation night.
Miss World Poland, Marta Palucka is a horse riding instructor by profession. Marta hails from the Tri-City region of Poland, situated on the North coast. Although Marta is enrolled on a Management Master’s degree, her enthusiasm is horse-riding. Riding since the age of 8, she has been an instructor since 2011, and is at present the Polish national rep for the World University Equestrian Federation (AIEC). Marta enjoys an array of demanding sports, including windsurfing, snowboarding and skiing, and she is a proficient pianist, finishing grade 8 by the age of 13! Marta enjoys reading, especially crime novels, and her favourite authors include Lisa Marklund and Camilla Lackberg. She is a versatile woman and she will definitely get her spot locked in the finale!
Miss World Puerto Rico, Keysi Vargas Velez is a wonderful woman. Keysi portrays herself as ‘determined, helpful and positive’. A marketing student, she has ambitions of a career in the entertainment industry, particularly as an events promoter and booker. She hopes to Master in Public Relations before starting her own company and making a name for herself. Keysi likes to spend time at the beach, play basketball, and volunteer at CAP, a local foundation caring for child cancer sufferers. She has a passionate aura and will definitely not go unnoticed.
Miss World Russia, Sofia Nikitchuk has an incredibly tranquil aura. Sofia was born and raised in the town of Snezhinsk in Chelyabinsk Oblast, before moving to study Management at the Ural Federal University in Ekaterinburg. She has a soothing personality, very much loved by Julia Morley.
Miss World Spain, Mireia Lalaguna has the caliber of going a long way. Her vision is to further her studies with Nutrition, before setting up a business in nutrition and dietics to find alternative health solutions to orthodox medicines. Mireia says that music and travelling are the pillars of her pleasure. An accomplished pianist she studied up to grade 8 in Musical Language, Harmony and Piano at the Conservatory of the Lyceum of Barcelona. She has travelled extensively over Europe and the Far East and she is on the right track to extend her warmth towards Miss World organization.
Miss World Sweden, Natalia Fogelund is a Law student currently in the 5th semester of her course. Hailing from Gothenburg city, Natalia has ambitions to become a criminal defense attorney after she completes her studies, to stimulate her enthusiasm for serving others. Dancing has always been a part of Natalia’s life, she has been competing from an early age in both ballroom and Latin dance events. Her warm and congenial aura will take her a long way.
Miss World Tunisia, Marwa Heni is another dark horse in the competition. Maroua is a model from Sidi Bouzid, a city in the centre of the country. After studying Design and Architecture at university, Maroua has refocused on the world of fashion and beauty, working as a model and also taking on acting work when she can. She hopes to start her own modelling agency in the future. She is bound to make a noise!
Miss World Turkey, Ecem Cirpan is an ace volleyball player. Ecem was born and raised in the city of Bursa, a beautiful city in the north west of Anatolia. Describing her household as “A family who never leave sports behind”, Ecem is a fierce contender, playing volleyball on the national stage. Winning the Balkan Volleyball Championship in 2012 is one of her proudest moments. Ecem hopes to finish her university degree in Film & TV, before pursuing a career in acting. Ecem is also learning to play the piano along with volunteering at a local children’s volleyball club. She is a versatile delegate!
Miss World United States, Victoria Mendoza is another diva to watch for! After a power pack performance by Elizabeth Safrit last year, Victoria Mendoza is expected to succeed her magnificently. She is a third year Broadcast Journalism & Mass Communication student. A competitive dancer for 8 years, Victoria loves ballet, jazz and hip hop, and she also taught herself to play the piano. Victoria opines: “I believe we are called to a life of meaning and purpose, and I fully support the ideas and values of the organization. Being part of the MWO is the ultimate achievement in pageantry, and I am excited to bring awareness and support to my ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project to every state in the US.” This determination will take her far!
Miss World Vietnam, Tran Ngoc Lan Khue is a saccharine diva! Khuê has already made waves in show business in her native homelands, now it’s time to embark on the Miss World platform. Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, she is currently working as an actress and MC. A former humanities student at HCMC University, she aspires to make a name for herself in show business, before putting a spotlight on charitable issues, stating that her vision is to develop a children’s charity and support centre. She is a star in the race!
Miss World Zimbabwe, Annie Grace Farayi Mutambu is another stunner in the race of Miss World crown. Annie-Grace was born and raised in the capital city of Harare. Describing herself as ‘a determined young lady’, she has goal of a career as a chartered accountant. Aside from accounting, Annie-Grace is a dynamic individual, citing tennis, basketball and swimming as her favourite sports, with singing, poetry and dance artistic quests of hers. She believes Miss World will give her the platform to embark on projects that will change lives worldwide and we believe her with the nodding approval too!
