Wendy Abdul to represent Nigeria at Top Model of the World 2021

The Top Model of the World organization has recently revealed the official delegate for Nigeria, Wendy Abdul, a 28 year-old model, mental health advocate and businesswoman. The diva succeeds Top Model Nigeria 2020 Funmilayo Akinjiola to represent Nigeria at the Top Model of the World 2021 pageant.

She is the founder of the WA Mental Health Initiative and also owns a clothing brand under her label. The diva was previously crowned as Miss Ideal Nigeria 2020 and dedicate her year to promote mental health amongst women and also was ambassador to the food drive campaign.

The competition sees participation from professional models, from all around the world, every year. The Pageant, which debuted in 1993 in Miami, transformed from a fashion competition, introducing sportswear to the USA, into an international, annual event with numerous, beautiful and talented young women competing from around the world. The winner of this year’s edition will succeed Peru's Pierinna Patiño for the title.

The grand finale of 28th edition of Top Model of the World is scheduled to take place on 11th March 2022 at Tanoak Resort in Ain Sukhna, an hour away from Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The contestants will stay at the 5 Star Grand Select Crystal Bay Resort, one of the best hotels in Hurghada, after their arrival on 27th and 28th February 2022.
