Tulia Alemán (full name Tulia Rosa María Alemán Ferrer), Miss Grand Venezuela 2017 representing Venezuela in the prestigious Miss Grand International 2017, is ready to turn heads. The contest’s finale night is set to take place in Vietnam on 25th October 2017.

The 24-year-old dusky beauty stands tall at 175 cm, weighs 55 kg and has impressive vitals of 35-23-35. She has done her graduation as an industrial safety technician with honours and is on course to obtain a degree in industrial engineering.

A simple family oriented girl, Tulia loves cooking, reading, photography and is passionate about fitness. Among her musical tastes are pop and romantic; her favourite singer is Thalía. She admires the work of American actor Leonardo Di Caprio and Venezuelan actress Norkys Batista. She has tried her hands in the field of acting also.

Tulia loves to spend quality time with her family and describes them as the driving force of her life. From an early age, she developed an instinct of competitiveness by playing sports like baseball, volleyball, and kicking a ball with her elder brother. Tulia is proud to have contributed towards the education of her younger sister. Out of all her achievements, what truly fills her heart is when her neighbourhood calls her ‘La Gata’ (a cat), a name given to her by her Grandpa, who believed in her and motivated her to achieve big in life.

She participated in the 64th edition of Miss Venezuela contest, where she could not win the title, but was awarded the special award of Miss Figura (Miss Figure). She was one of our favourites to win Miss Venezuela 2016. Later, she was appointed by the Miss Grand Venezuela organization to be the Venezuelan representative for Miss Grand International 2017. She is already in the Top 10 of Miss Popular online voting conducted by the MGI organization.

Tulia is a committed, simple and believing woman of God. She believes that love of family and motivation towards education and sports can keep the children away from violence, giving more value to life. She thinks that life is wonderful and only with love and respect for others we can prevent violence among human beings. She advocates the idea that no one deserves to go through the pain of losing a loved one at the hands of violence.
