The finals of World Supermodel India 2017 pageant has recently concluded and two girls were crowned as the official Indian delegates to represent India in Macau during World Supermodel Production 2017 Edition. Summer Jacobs hailing from Pune, Maharasthra was titled as the Teen delegate while Renuka Kaushal hailing from Chandigarh was announced as the official delegate for the adult category.

At the same pageant, Monal Jagtani and Ruth Charlesworth were crowned as runner up in Teen and Adult category, respectively. In addition to announcing the winners, few special awards were also awarded - Ankita Shrivastava was awarded Miss Congeniality for her support in creating awareness and contribution towards society's betterment besides peer encouragement.

The finale of World Supermodel India 2017 was held on 21st April 2017 in Mumbai, and various media houses were in attendance to cover the pageant. The organisation received more than 800 entries, and only 22 girls made it to the finals. The delegates competed through a series of preliminary competitions including, Swimsuit round, self presentation, personal interview and communication skills.

All the finalists arrived in Mumbai and were immediately whisked off to a hill station in Maharashtra for the prelude, during which they went through rigorous schedules of rehearsal, swimwear round, grooming sessions, workshops, photo shoots and profiling of all the girls.

The winners will now move ahead to compete at the World Supermodel International pageant to be held in Macau, China. The finals will be held between 20th-28th May. Both the winners are professionally groomed and trained for the pageant. What do you think of the new ly crowned winners?
