World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2017 declared Talliya Aibedullina of Russia as the winner at the end of the coronation night. She was crowned on 9th December 2017 the Newport Performing Theatre Resorts World Manila in Pasay City, the Philippines. This was the inaugural year of this pageant and Talliya is the first ever queen to be crowned.
Talliya is 21 years of age and has been born and raised in Russia. She is very fond of her country’s various cultural and traditional aspects, and wants to promote the tourism of Russia through this title. She bested 42 other candidates eyeing the winning title. She will now be actively involved in the tourism promotion of her country as well as other countries.

With advocacy of "beauty and one purpose," this pageant focuses on the promotion of tourism, culture and mutual understanding. Justin Tran, founder and CEO of World Miss Tourism Ambassador (WMTA) Vietnam, said at the press conference "the winner of the beauty pageant will embark on a journey full of charisma, mission and responsibility. She will travel the world and promote groups the goal of."
