World Supermodel South Pacific 2018 is a regional finals being held in Fiji that allows entrants to compete from around the region i.e. Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa, PNG and surrounding South Pacific Region with the winner getting an all-expense paid trip to represent the South Pacific Region in Vietnam, come November.
Fiji, once again, won the bid to host the South Pacific Regional Finals next Year to be held from April 26-29th, 2018 at "The Pearl Resort, Spa & Championship Golf Course” who secured the rights for a 3rd year as the official Host Venue and Accommodation for the visiting international models and visiting international crew. World Supermodel 2017 Belinde Schreuder will be passing on her crown to her successor at this event.
Fiji, being the home country, had been under a lot of pressure to choose the contestants that they would rely on, to be sent to the pageant. They revealed the names of the duo that will be representing them, yesterday.

The World Supermodel contestants will be judged in the traditional style and will cover the following areas:
1) Personal Interviews
Delegates will be interviewed by each of the high profile Guest Judge’s. This will be the first chance for the Judges to meet and greet the Delegates (dressed in their choice of casual clothing) in a CLOSED (to the public) environment.
2) Evening Gown
Evening Gown will be judged on the Design and Craftsmanship of the Garment and 20 seconds to explain what they are wearing and who designed their evening gown. Delegates need to demonstrate their poise and grace whilst in Formal Wear. Marks will be awarded on the Delegates ability to present their Formal Wear
3) Swimwear
The Swimwear category will be judged and marks scored will be based on the Presentation, Cut and Style of the fabric. The entrants will be escorted one by one to a designated area, where they will introduce themselves in front of a panel of judges before leaving.
4) Photographic Portfolio
This Category is judged during the production by our team of photographers where the Delegates will have the chance to demonstrate their ability to present themselves in front of camera
The winner will then represent the South Pacific region at the World Supermodel 2018 pageant.

World Supermodel’s executives have recently confirmed that the agency, New York Models, will be offering a one-year contract prize for the 11th annual event scheduled for the current year, i.e. 2018. New York Models has replaced the Trump Model agency since the Trump family closed its doors this year.
