The brunette beauty Miss Universe Australia Caris Tiivel has been acquiring attention right from the time she was crowned. The beauty queen is the topic of the town because of her striking resemblance with Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr.

The newly crowned Miss Universe Australia reached her hometown and the beauty queen was amazed by all the limelight and recognition that she received. “It’s crazy, it is definitely next level,” Tiivel said.
“As a model it’s never about you as a person. So it’s a bit strange having people wanting to know all these details about who you are. But it’s really cool. It’s been an amazing experience so far.”

Caris was excited to see the support that she is getting. “I love meeting new people, so it’s really nice to have so many people supporting me,” she said. “It will be interesting to see how this will change my regular life. Mum and Dad have told me that the locals around our suburb have already begun congratulating them. It’s really cute,” Caris added.
Caris main aim of participating in the pageant was to break the stigma that pageants were “only about girls walking about in bikinis”.
“There was a nice lady sitting next to me on the plane who asked me what I was doing in Melbourne, so I told her I was there for Miss Universe, and she said ‘Oh, I heard a WA girl won’. So I got to say ‘It was me’. She was lovely. She said ‘Well, you’ve completely changed my assumption of what Miss Universe was about, because you’re so nice and down-to-earth’.”
This Australian beauty is already turning out to be a front runner for the coveted title. She is definitely going to be a strong contender to compete with. Looks like Australia is going to give a tough competition to other countries this year at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant scheduled to be held on 30th January 2017 in Philippines. What do you think?
