Winning Miss International crown is not a cakewalk, while many powerhouse countries have yet not won a single Miss International crown, Colombia ranks third in the Miss International hall of fame. In the 55 years since Miss International’s inception, Colombia has won three crowns, garnering four runner ups and 33 placements.
While Stella Márquez was the first ever winner of Miss International pageant, she was also the first Colombian to wear the very coveted crown. Currently, Stella is the National Director of Binibining Pilipinas in Philippines.
