The magnificent finale of Miss Panama 2015 has finally concluded and the winners have been announced. The finale was held at the Hard Rock Cafe Megapolis Panama on August 24’ 2015. Gladys Brandao Amaya was crowned Miss Panama 2015 and will now compete in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. She succeeds to Miss Panamá 2014, Yomatzy Maurineth Hazlewood De La Rosa. Also, Diana Jaén was crowned Miss Panamá Mundo 2015. She will now compete in the Miss World 2015 pageant. She succeeds, Nicole Pinto, Miss Panamá World 2014.

As Panama decided that the country will not be sending any delegate to the Miss Universe pageant, the decision has been retracted. “Press motivates the participation of Miss Universe Panama. After much criticism, the Miss Universe Organization has ensured that the contest is based on the diversity of cultures and inclusion, for this reason and the Organization Telemetro Miss Panama have decided to accede to send a representative.” – this was the official statement by the organisation.

There were a total of 24 contestants who competed for the coveted crowns and the titles. After competing their way through various preliminary competitions, the two women made their way to the crowns. At the same event, Catherine Agrazal was crowned as Reina Internacional del Café Panamá 2015, Miss Pesé Herera Joseline Pinto was adjudged as the first runner-up, Miss Puerto Pilón Jhasmeiry Herrera was titled second runner-up, Miss Bocas del Toro Estefanía Mora was adjudged as the third runner-up and Miss Darién Leydis González was the fourth runner-up.

In addition to announcing the winners and the runners-up, a series of Special Awards were also given under the following categories –
