Miss Upper Cumberland USA, Hope Stephens was crowned as Miss Tennessee USA 2016 on October 10, 2015 at Austin Peay State University's Mabry Concert Hall in Clarksville, Tennessee by the outgoing queen, Kiara Young. Miss West TN, Erin Hatley was adjudged as first runner-up, Miss Greater Nashville, Sara Cardona was titled as second runner-up, Miss Nashville, Kaileigh Bullard was announced as third runner-up and Miss Williamson Co, Alexandra Harper was declared as fourth runner-up. At the same event, Savannah Chrisley of Nashville was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA.
Completing the semifinalists spot were, Lexi White, Tanna Norman, Rachel Warren, BrieAnna Shepard, Megan Hale, Megan Miller, Megan Stanley, Olivia Davis, Melissa Gee and Katerina Daniele. Hope Stephens will now have a few months to prepare for Miss USA 2016, where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma.

Formerly Hope Stephens was Miss Teen Tennessee United States 2014. She made the Top 10 at Miss Teen United States. Having gained first hand pageant experience she is now ready to mesmerize and stun her supporters through her charm at the coming edition of Miss USA 2016 pageant.
Tennessee has been quite successful at Miss USA pageant. It has won two Miss USA crowns and has had several runner ups and placements. Five Miss Tennessee USA titleholders have formerly competed at Miss Tennessee Teen USA, and Six at Miss America, as such the state is quite serious about its performance at the national pageants USA organizes as a ticket to international pageants.
