Miss Earth Kenya 2017 was launched at the Royal Tulip Canaan, Nairobi. The Pageant takes place every year and works in the favour of environment to educate people. The Beauty Pageant will start their audition process on May 5 which will conclude to the finale night on 8th July 2017.
The winner will be promoting some significant projects, and will address issues related to the environment and other vital global problems. Along with this, the winner will also be the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) & other chief environmental organizations as well.
Miss Earth Kenya 2016 was Grace Wanene from Laikipia. She mesmerized everyone with her charm, confidence & love for environment. She has utilized her title to educate people about the importance of environment and the protection of the same in Kenya.
People are all excited to know the winner of 2017 and what efforts she will be taking to protect the environment and educate people. The sole aim of Miss Earth Kenya is to inform people on saving the Mother Earth, and not to destroy it with the harmful acts.
Miss Kenya is the national pageant of Kenya. It selects representatives to participate at the Big 4 beauty pageant of the world, Miss Earth every year. The pageant started as an annual affair in 1960. The country participated at the renowned international beauty contest every year and the contestants were mostly handpicked.
