The Finalists Costa Rica organization took to their official social media to make the announcement of the official coronation of Shakira Graham as the new Miss Eco Costa Rica 2023. Shakira was crowned by Miss Eco Costa Rica 2022 Sue Chinchilla Bermudez.

Shakira Graham is 21 years of age and is a neighbor of Siquirres, in the province of Limón.She is a Marketing student. Fluent in English and Spanish, Sharika’s hobbies include cooking and reading. Before, she also practiced in athletics and was selected nationally, obtaining a national record in triple jump.

Shakira and her family are dedicated to the conservation, reproduction and care of wild animals, especially crocodiles on the farm they own. Previously, Shakira has also competed in pageants such as Teen America Internacional 2018, Teen Caribbean Latin America 2019 and Miss Mesoamerica Universe 2022.

The official organization also thanked Miss Eco Costa Rica 2022 Sue Chinchilla Bermudez for their reign. The organization wrote, “As an organization we want to thank our Queen@sue_cbermudezfor her great work as outgoing Queen. We are very proud of her achievement and top in the last edition of@missecointernational???? all your discipline and effort during the months of preparation paid off! We are sure that life will bring you many more joys because as you say, you are always a Queen.”

Miss Eco International 2023, the eighth edition of the international beauty pageant, will be held in Egypt in 2023. Miss Eco International 2022 Kathleen Joy Paton of the Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
