On August 15’ 2016 a Press Conference was organised at the St. Francis Shangri-la Place in Mandaluyong City to officially announce the host country of Miss Global 2016.

The final coronation ceremony is slated to be held on September 24’ 2016 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines wherein some 50 beautiful ladies from around the globe are expected to compete at the upcoming consecutive edition of the Miss Global beauty pageant.

The coveted winner will serve as a representative of goodwill and  will also help in promoting Philippine tourism. She will also help promote the Senhoa Foundation in supporting vulnerable persons and survivors of human trafficking.

At the end of the gala pageant, the reigning queen Jessica Peart of Australia will pass her reign and crown to her successor. Jessica Peart also attended the official press launch of the pageant along with Miss Global Philippines titleholders; Catherine Almirante, Candice Ramos and Camille Hirro, held on Monday at the St Francis Shangri-la Place in Mandaluyong City.

This will be the second consecutive time when Philippines will be hosting the Miss Global pageant.  

The fourth edition of Miss Global 2016 is suppose to be a gala affair, and also more exciting with the full support coming from the country’s Department of Tourism and the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines (FDAP).

Host organizer Pauline Sofia Laping is encouraging everyone to give their full support to the hosting of the pageant in Philippines to make it a triumphant one.
