The 2023 production of Miss Grand international was, indeed, a successful one with the crowning of Peru’s delegate Luciana Fuster who won the Miss Grand International 2023 crown from her predecessor Isabella Menin from Brazil.

The finale, with a grand stage and amazing lighting, began with the introduction of the sixty-nine delegates from all over the world. The finale was hosted by Thai television personality Matthew Deane and saw a live performance by Miss Grand International 2022 first runner-up Engfa Waraha who was Grand Voice Winner in 2022.

With the winners of the National Costume competition and Country’s Power of the Year being announced, the sixty-nine contestants were cut down to the Top semi-finalists who strutted on the stage in their swimsuits. Much to the disappointment of the Filipino fans, much-deserved Philippines failed to place in the Top 20.

The finale also saw the announcement of the host country for the 2024 edition of the Miss Grand international which will be held on 25th October 2024 in Myanmar. With Best in Swimsuit and Miss Popular winners being announced, Top 10 finalists were announced.

Another award for the National Directors was announced; Golden Grand Award is the National director of Miss Grand Indonesia while Silver Grand Award winners were the national directors of Vietnam and Peru. With the Top 10 finalists giving their ‘War and Violence’ statements and Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin giving their final statements, the finale almost came to its conclusion.

The Top 5 was announced as the rest of the Top 10 became the fifth runners-up. After the final Q/A round was done and dusted with the panel of jury, Luciana Fuster became the new Miss Grand International 2023 and Ni Ni Lin Eain of Myanmar, María Alejandra López of Colombia, Sthephanie Miranda of USA and Le Hoang Phuong of Vietnam were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
