Myanmar was announced as the host country of Miss Grand International for the 2024 edition at the finals of the last year’s edition on 25th October 2024. The 12th edition of Miss Grand International will be held on 25th October 2024 in Yangon, Myanmar.

Thae Su Nyein is the host country delegate this year as she was crowned Miss Grand Myanmar 2024 on 10th December 2023 at the Hexagon Complex, Shwe Htut Tin Compound in Yangon. Since then, Thae has been preparing to welcome the official delegates to her country along with honing her communication and catwalk skills.

At the finale, Thae was asked, “What is the biggest problem facing your generation and why?” to which she replied the biggest problem that today's youth is facing is overusing social networks and forgetting about real life.  A resilient and a confident woman, Thae proved her mettle at the finals to win the crown.

Thae succeeds and was crowned by Miss Grand Myanmar 2023 Ni Ni Lin Eain. Eain represented Myanmar at Miss Grand International 2023 and with her stellar performance, she won 1st Runner-up position at the finale.

The 12th edition of Miss Grand International will be held on 25th October 2024 in Yangon, Myanmar where Miss Grand International 2023 Luciana Fuster of Peru will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
