Sakra Guerrero of Guarico crowned Miss International Venezuela 2023

The 70th edition of Miss Venezuela was held at the Centro Comercial Líder in Caracas, Venezuela on 7th December 2023 where Sakra Guerrero of Guarico was crowned Miss International Venezuela 2023. Sakra will now represent Venezuela at Miss International 2024.

Sakra succeeds and was crowned by none other than Andrea Rubio who recently won the Miss International 2023 crown for Venezuela. Sakra believes in the beauty that inspires and believes in education as a tool to empower. For the beauty queen. it is her daily practice as a doctor and university professor but also as a human being. She wants to inspire and enhance her ideas so that her words can spread and contribute to the development of her country.

Also at the finale, Ileana Márquez Pedroza created history as she became the first ever mother to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2023 and will represent her country at Miss Universe 2024. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Venezuela 2022 Diana Silva.

The panel of jury who was responsible for crowning the new winners included Luis Olavarrieta – Journalist, María Antonieta Duque – Actress, Alexander González – Footballer, María Fernanda Vera – Fashion designer, Guillermo Felizola – Photographer, Claudia Salazar – Event producer and Andrea Martínez – Marketing director.

The contestants who competed at Miss Venezuela 2023 were Anakristina Rivero, Argiannis Luna, Cindy Granadillo, Cynthia Boscan, Daniela Celis, Dayana Lara, Georgette Musrie, Giorgiana Rosas, Graciela Altuve, Ileana Márquez, Irmar Cabrices, Katherine Sena, Maria Gabriela Martínez, Maria Victoria Abuhazi, Mariam Habach, Mariángela Ramírez, Minerva Chuello, Omaira Morales, Racha Saab, Raulimar Díaz, Rosmellys Romero, Sakra Guerrero, Sara Jordan, Sheba Sichini and Yuliana Hidalgo.
