26 years old Brooke Harris has been crowned as Miss Maine USA 2017 and she will have the opportunity to represent her state Maine at the prestigious Miss USA 2017 to be held in the month of June 2017. “It was truly one of the best moments of my life and the only way I can describe it is pure joy,” Harris said after winning the title.

Each delegate was judged in swimsuit, evening gown, and personal interview round respectively, and at the end of the coronation, Harris was crowned as the Miss Maine USA 2017. Last year, Brooke earned 1st Runner-Up amongst many contestants.

Brooke Harris, daughter of Randy and Patricia Harris, is a graduate in Nursing from University of Maine Fort Kent. The beauty currently works as a Registered Nurse at Akari in Portland and Southern Maine Healthcare in Biddeford.

Brooke’s passion is to provide compassionate care to others. She believes that the best she can do as Miss Maine USA is to make a difference in her community by teaching others the importance of healthy lifestyles and positive relationships.

The young lady is thankful to her parents for providing her with inspiration and motivation to achieve her goal. “I have been raised by two incredibly wonderful people who taught me never to give up on something that I believe in, and I believe in myself and in the good that I can do during my year as Miss Maine USA,” Harris said.

Brooke’s persistence in achieving her goal to win Miss Maine USA falls into line with the traditionally held Maine values of hard work and determination.
