Andrea Aguilera returned home to Ecuador, following a historic win at Miss Supranational 2023 becoming the first ever Ecuadorian beauty to win the coveted crown. She touched down in her home country on 24th July 2023 at Guayaquil, Ecuador.

The stunning 22-year-old Miss Supranational received a heartfelt welcome from the people of Ecuador at the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport. The welcome was followed by her victory parade through the streets of Guayaquil.

An official press conference was also hosted for her homecoming at Courtyard by Marriott Guayaquil. Getting a warm welcome and greetings from her people, Andrea thanked everyone for their support and blessings.

"I want to say thank you to everyone who sent me words of kindness and support. It's teamwork and you are my team. Without you, I probably would not be standing here today, feeling so happy and excited," she quoted.

Andrea was crowned Miss Supranational 2023 on 14th July 2023 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz, in Malopolska, Poland. Apart from being the first ever Ecuadorian to win, she is also the second South American winner since Stephania Stegman of Paraguay in 2015.
