The consecutive sixty-fifth (65) edition of the Miss USA 2016 Pageant is slated to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 5, 2016. The three-hour magnificent annual show will air live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Miss USA 2015, Olivia Jordan of Oklahoma will pass her reign and crown to her successor at the end of the gala event. Olivia Jordan competed at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, wherein the beauty queen was adjudged as the second runner up.

From the year 2008 till 2013, the prestigious pageant was being held in Las Vegas, however, last two consecutive years of the pageant were held in Baton Rouge (capital of the USA). At the Miss USA 2015 pageant, which was culminated on July 12’ 2015, wherein Olivia Jordan of Oklahoma was crowned as the winner.
During the final competition, the top fifteen aspirants will compete in swimsuit and evening gown, and the top five will compete through the final Q&A round signed up by a panel of judges. The winner will get the opportunity to live in New York during her one year of reign as Miss USA 2016.
The winner of the Miss USA pageant represents the U.S. in its sister pageant Miss Universe. Since its inception, eight Miss USA winners have participated at the Miss Universe pageant.
