Miss Universe Bulgaria organization, through their official social media, announced the appointment of Kristina Plamenova as the new Miss Universe Bulgaria 2022. Kristina will now represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe.
Kristina Plamenova is 26 years of age and a model and law graduate who hails from the northwestern Bulgarian town of Byala Slatina. She is currently living in Sofia. Kristina is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously won the title of Miss Sofia in 2019.
Kristina Plamenova will surely be a strong representative of her country at a prestigious stage such as Miss Universe. Bulgaria has yet to win the Miss Universe pageant it debuted at Miss Universe in 1991.
Kristina Plamenova succeeds Miss Universe Bulgaria 2021 Elena Danova. Miss Universe 2022, the 71st edition of the pageant, is all set to be held on 14th January 2022 in New Orleans, USA where Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
