Delary Stoffers Villón was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2023 at the finale of Miss Ecuador 2023 held at Recinto Ferial Dr. Alfonso Torres Ordóñez in Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador. Delary will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2023.

Delary Stoffers Villón represented Guayaquil at the national competition. She competed against 22 other candidates to win the crown. Hailing from Guayaquil, Guayas, Ecuador, she advocates for environmental protection and volunteers in rescuing animals. In 2020, she entered a university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Not new to the pageantry, Delary represented Guayaquil at Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2020 which was held through a virtual ceremony amid COVID-19 pandemic. She competed against nine other finalists and was unplaced.

Through her reign, Delary wishes to focus on her project on single mothers. She would also like to start a project of empowerment, mental and physical health so that they can be strong and resilient women who win the whole world.

“On the subject of single mothers, I would like them to learn how to generate resources, to feel full and complete. Through the years, we have empowered ourselves, we are capable and we need to demonstrate much more, that they see that we can be mothers, professionals and that there is no limit. I am an empowered woman”, she quotes.

María José Barzallo, Nicole Pinilla, Nahomi Guzmán and Sulay Mora were adjudged as the first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively. Top 10 also included Daniela Romero, Emily Quela, Naomi Viteri & Sullay Gatti.

Also at the finale, Paulethe Cajas was crowned Miss International Ecuador 2023 as she became the official representative of Ecuador at Miss International 2023 which will be held later this year in Japan.
