Maya Aboul Hosn has been appointed as Miss Universe Lebanon 2023 as she has become the official representative of Lebanon at Miss Universe 2023. Due to some reasons, no national pageant was held to crown the country’s representative at Miss Universe this year.

On being designated as Miss Universe Lebanon 2023, Maya took to her official social media as she penned down her emotions in a post captioned, “Embarking on an incredible journey to represent Lebanon in the Miss Universe competition! With love and pride for my hometown, let's shine on the global stage!”

Maya is a radio and television personality from Btekhnay. The 25-year-old stunning Lebanese beauty works as a host at LBCI Lebanon. Not new to the pageantry, Maya competed at Miss Lebanon 2022 and placed as the first runner-up last year.

Maya succeeds Miss Universe Lebanon 2022 Yasmina Zaytoun who represented Lebanon at Miss Universe 2022 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 21. Lebanon holds one Miss Universe title under its belt with Georgina Rizk in 1971.

Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
