Poorani Rajoo, former Miss Intercontinental Malaysia, has confirmed to join Miss Universe Malaysia 2023 leaving the pageant fanatics excited. Poorani Rajoo is 26 years of age and hails from Kuala Lumpur who will definitely be a fan-favourite at the competition this year.

Poorani Rajoo was previously elected Miss Intercontinental Malaysia 2021 in August 2021 as she became the official representative of Malaysia at Miss Intercontinental 2021. At the international stage, with her stellar performance, she placed in the Top 20. Thus, if she makes it to Miss Universe Malaysia 2023, Rajoo will come with international experience and exposure.

Being a beauty queen has changed a lot for Poorani. “Being a beauty queen taught me to be a 'strong inside out ' woman. I became a braver person to face life's challenges. Life is full of twists and turns, full of trials, with obstacles and obstacles. In life, sometimes we get more of what we don't want. And when we get what we want, we finally know that what we want sometimes can't make us happier”, she quoted.

Standing 175 cm tall, Poorani is working full-time as a customer service officer in a giant company, and in her free time, she is devoted to modeling and advertising photography. She believes that having a good heart and being pure is the most important attribute of beauty.
