For the first time in 72 years of history, Persia will be competing at Miss Universe competition to be held in Mexico later this year. The National Director is Golshan Bakhtiary who will be in-charge of hosting the national pageant and crown their first ever winner.

The first edition of Miss Universe Persia will be open to all Persian women around the world. Since they are unable to hold it in Iran, it will be held in Italy on 17th June 2024 and the name Persia will be used on the global stage.

The national director took to her official social media as she made the announcement and quoted, “The cultural heritage pageant of Persia in this year’s Miss Universe competition will introduce its first representative on this stage, which is known as the Olympics of the most beautiful women in the world. We will follow all stages of agent preparation with the best strategy.”

“This will be an important stage where we can introduce the culture and customs of old Persia to the world like other countries. This cultural organization, which consists of the best culture of friends and entrepreneurs, is trying its best to hold this competition and give added value to the participants and the winner”, she added.

The 73rd edition of Miss Universe is scheduled to be held later in the year in Mexico City where Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
