Looks like this year the Miss World pageant is going to be one tough battle ground. Why? Well not just because the contestants are so darn good, but also because the girls are giving their all in to clinch the coveted title this year.

Miss Cayman Islands Monyque Brooks has already reached the US, and the beauty queen has been training hard since then. Monyque has been training for the pageant in Miami with Anastagia Pierre Friel, at her coaching organization. On Thursday, Monyque travelled to Washington with Donna Bush, the Miss Cayman Committee deputy chair, for filming and rehearsals.

The committee and I have ensured that Monyque is prepared for the world stage. We have no doubt that she will make the Cayman Islands proud,” said Ms. Dacres-Lee.

As more than 10 countries are vying for the Miss Wold 2016 title this year and contestants will be judged on the basis of various events, including Top Model, Talent, Multimedia, Sports, Beauty with a Purpose and Resort Wear, it will be interesting to keep a track of the contest.
