Priyanka Yoshikawa crowned as Miss World Japan 2016

The grand gala finale of Miss World Japan 2016 held on 5th September 2016 concluded with the crowning of Priyanka Yoshikawa as the winner. Priyanka Yoshikawa succeeds Miss World Japan 2015 Chika Nakagawa, and will now represent Japan at the Miss World 2016 pageant.
 
 
22 years old Priyanka is of Indian and Japanese descent, hence has is blessed with the grace of both world. The Japanese model stands at a towering height of 176cm. Priyanka was elated with joy and surprise as her name was announced. She was surprised and delighted to have won the crown. Priyanka defeated 30 girls to clinch the coveted title of Miss World Japan 2016. This year’s batch was considered to be a comparatively weaker batch. 
 
In addition to announcing the winner, the runners-up for the night were also announced. Misato Makino was adjudged as the first runner-up, Natsuki Robertson was titled second runner-up and Yamashita Himawari finished as third runner-up.
