The second edition of Miss Myanmar World pageant is on its way with the selection of 20 finalists who will compete at the grand finale of Miss Myanmar World 2015 scheduled to be held in Yangon on July 11' 2015.
The screening process commenced with the Press Launch of Miss Myanmar World 2015 beauty pageant, which was held at the Chatrium Hotel in Yangon on April 23rd, when it was announced that the applications for participation in the 2015 edition will be accepted until April 30th. The final auditions to shortlist the candidates was held at the Kandawgyi Palace Hotel in Yangon on May 4' 2015, and a total of 20 finalists were selected.
After the final auditions, the twenty contestants selected are Khin Yadanar Thein Myint, Poe Poe Shwe Yee, Phyu Thant Chaw, Hnin Shwe Yee, Inngyin May, Aye Chan Myint Oo, Poe Darli, Yama Nay, Ei Thet Mon, Han Nwai, Pan Pan Angelic, Maymyat Mon, Khine Kei Zin, Nay Chi, No No Kay, Phyu Phway, Nay Yee Win Lai, Nann Sandar Hla Htun, Mawreen, and Shin Wai Naing Oo.
The first edition of Miss Myanmar World was held on September 27' 2014, when the very talented 19-years old Wyne Lay, who is also a singer, lyricist and pianist, was crowned the winner. She went on to represent Myanmar at Miss World 2014 pageant in London, England, and became the very first Miss World Myanmar after Myanmar had revitalized the participation in Miss World contest.
