Miss Universe Bahamas 2019 held its coronation night on 18th August 2019 where eleven contestants competed for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Bahamas in Miss Universe 2019. At the conclusion of the event finale, Tarea Bianca Sturrup was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Bahamas 2018 Danielle Grant.
The 23-year-old beauty is a professional model with Choice Model Management holding the title of Miss Universe Grand Bahama 2019. Tarea will take forward her advocacy of Dementia Awareness in the country as she believes that awareness is the first step to improving quality of life for all patients.
Last year, Danielle Grant represented Bahamas in Miss Universe 2018 but unfortunately failed to win a placement in the Top. Bahamas is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe pageant.
