Demi-Leigh Tebow turns author with her debut memoir ‘A Crown that Lasts’

Demi-Leigh Tebow (formerly: Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters), who marked her presence in the pageant world by winning the Miss Universe 2017 crown, has become an inspiration for countless girls across the world with her advocacy and humanitarian causes. Demi has now added another feather to her accomplished cap as she has turned author!

Demi has announced her first ever book titled ‘A Crown that Lasts: You Are Not Your Label’. For Demi, this book was in itself a journey as she spoke about her journey to the Miss Universe crown and also her journey after as she passed the crown.

She took to her official social media as she spoke about her debut memoir and wrote, “When I sat down to begin writing it a few years ago, I realized I had so much internal work I still needed to do in order to write the message I felt God was calling me to write. I realized that writing this book was just as much for myself as it was for you all, and it’s something I’m still learning too! The message in A Crown That Lasts isn’t one I feel worthy of sharing, but it is one I feel very called to share.”

A Crown that Lasts is available for pre-order today which can be pre-ordered from Demi’s official website. “I hope that you’ll love reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it and that you’ll accept my invitation to walk alongside you in this journey. Together, let’s unfold the next chapters of our lives with a firm foundation, unwavering confidence, and God-given purpose”, Demi added.

Demi was crowned Miss Universe in 2017 at the finale of 66th Miss Universe held in Nevada, USA. It was South Africa's first victory in almost four decades, and the second victory of the country in the history of Miss Universe.
