Miss Universo Chile 2016 national pageant was held on 12th November in Chile. Catalina Cáceres was crowned as the winner. Catalina succeeds Miss Universe Chile 2015 Maria Belen Jerez Spuler, and represented Chile at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. 

Miss Universo Chile is a national beauty pageant held every year in Chile in search of the perfect ambassador to send to one of the most reputed beauty pageants in the world, the Miss Universe contest.

Chile has sent 47 representatives since 1952 with only one Miss Universe title claimed by its ambassador, Cecilia Bolocco who titled Miss Universe 1987.

The Chilean franchise for Miss Universe was owned by Chilevisión in 2016.

Miss Universo Chile 2015 Maria Belen Jerez Spuler was crowned on 23 November 2015. The ambassador represented her country at the Miss Universe finals on 20 December, 2015 at Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
