The coveted annual national finale of Miss World Fiji 2016, was held on May 7’ 2016 at The Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva. Pooja Priyanka was crowned as Miss World Fiji 2016 at the end of the gala night held on May 7’ 2016 at the The Grand Pacific Hotel, Suva, Fiji. At the same pageant Nanise Raboiliku was adjudged as first runner up, while Vika Fifita finished as second runner up. Pooja will now represent Fiji at the Miss World 2016 competition set to be held later this year.
A total of 10 finalists competed for the coveted title of Miss World Fiji 2016.

The final casting of Miss World Fiji 2016 took place at the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation, 69 Gladstone Road in Suva, where young Fijian women learned how to meet the Miss World requirements and many other things.
Miss World Fiji national director Andhy Blake said that the Miss World contest was a great platform to build confidence, make new friends, travel and enhance career options.
The Miss World Fiji organisation has mirrored the efforts of the Miss World organization by creating a platform to assisting in the successful careers of its national finalists. Former national finalists and title holders have used the Miss World Fiji platform to pursue other interests and have excelled in the process.
The week long contest will consist of various events, such as the Top Model Fashion Show, while the talent and contestant interviews will be held privately.
