Miss Gibraltar 2016 pageant was held on June 4’ 2016 at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre in Gibraltar. Kayley Mifsud has been crowned as Miss Gibraltar 2016 at the end of the scintillating finale. Kayley will represent Gibraltar at the Miss World 2016 pageant. At the same pageant, Joseanne Bear was adjudged first runner-up and will compete at Miss International 2016.Aicha Ben Yahya was adjudged second runner-up and might go to Miss Supranational 2016.

The Miss Gibraltar organization had selected a total number of 9 delegates who competed for the Miss Gibraltar 2016 title. The 9 gorgeous contestants were:

The very first Miss Gibraltar pageant was held in the year of 1959, however, the pageant did not resume until 1964. Since 1964 the Miss Gibraltar pageant has been continuously organized for over 50 consecutive years. Revived by GBC, initially the pageant was produced by Roger Pike, who was the director of the pageant in '64 and '65. In 1967, the contest was handed over to the Gibraltar Tourist Office and is being handled by them since them.

Kaiane Aldorino, who is a Gibraltarian dancer, was the first and only Miss World from Gibraltar who won the Miss World title in 2009. The beauty queen opted for dancing at the age of 14 and has performed in Gibraltar and Spain. She is trained in modern, hip hop, contemporary and commercial styles.

Gibraltar placed among the Top 6 finalists of Miss World pageant in the year 2013.

The outgoing Miss Gibraltar Hannah Bado represented Gibraltar at Miss World 2015 pageant.
