Femina Miss India 2016 was held on April 9’ 2016 in Mumbai, India. Miss India is a national beauty pageant in India that selects representatives to compete at international pageants like Miss World, Miss International and Miss United Continents. The Miss India pageant is organised by Femina, a women's magazine published by Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd.
The magnificent grand coronation night of Femina Miss India 2016 was culminated after crowning Priyadarshini Chatterjee as Femina Miss India 2016. At the same event Sushruthi Krishna was adjudged as first runner- up, while Pankhuri Gidwani was titled as second runner- up.
This year, the Femina Miss India pageant travelled across 20 cities (including 12 city auditions, 3 regional auditions, 2 city pageants and a final round of audition in Mumbai). A total of twenty one finalists were shortlisted who competed for the title. The twenty one finalists of Miss India 2016 were –
