Miss Diva is a national beauty pageant held in India since 2013 and its parent organizations are Femina Miss India and Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd. The winner of Miss Diva or Miss Diva Universe represents India at the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Diva 2015 is the third edition of the beauty pageant and is scheduled to be held on October 14’ 2015. The winner of the pageant will represent India at the Miss Universe 2015 global platform.

Miss Diva 2015 will be held as a TV series (docu-series) and contestants will be judged based on tasks given by celebrity juries, with the weakest performance being eliminated at the end. Moreover, the finalists will be judged on various parameters such as ramp walk and communication skills.

The pageant has shortlisted 16 finalists this year. The 16 shortlisted finalists are – Aarushi Sharma from Delhi, Aileena Catherin Amon from Kochi, Aishwarya Dhavale from Pune, Apoorva Sharma from Jiapur, Ankita Thite from Pune, Hida Siddiqui from Delhi, Himali Soni from Mumbai, Nancy Gupta from Delhi, Natasha Assadi from Mumbai, Naveli Deshmukh from Aurangabad, Pooja Bisht from Kotdwara, Rashi Yadav from Delhi, Shivani Jadhav from Pune, Shivani Shetty from Mumbai, Simran Khandelwal from Indore and Urvashi Rautela from Kotdwara.

The reigning Miss Diva is Noyonita Lodh. Noyonita was crowned as the winner of Miss Diva 2014, while Alankrita Sahai was adjudged the first runner-up and Asha Bhat was adjudged as the second runner-up. In 2014, Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta monitored all the 15 contestants throughout the journey of Miss Diva 2014. The “Singh is Bling” actor, Amy Jackson also hosted the pageant last year.

However, the first ever Miss Diva took place on September 5, 2013 at Westin Mumbai Garden City, Mumbai, India. Fourteen gorgeous girls were chosen from across the country to compete at the Miss Universe pageant. 21 year-old Manasi Moghe from Mumbai was crowned the first ever Miss Diva by Miss Asia Pacific 1970 and B-Town legendary actor Zeenat Aman.

The winner of Miss Diva 2015 will get a chance to win a cash prize of Rs 500,000. In addition, three finalists will take home a Yamha Fascino and a bejeweled crown crafted by Gemsfields.

The reality Television show will air on Romedy Now with delayed telecasts on Zoom TV and the finale will telecast live on Fox Life.  The reigning Miss Diva Noyonita Lodh will crown the winner of the Miss Diva 2015 as her successor.
