The Miss World Mexico 2016 was held on 14th October in 2016 at the Teatro Morelos of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. The stunning beauty, Ana Girault, was announced as the winner and was titled Miss World Mexico 2016. She will represent the country at the Miss World 2016 beauty pageant finals.
Thirty-two regional beauties competed for the crown and the title of Miss World Mexico 2016. The 32 contesting beauties were Giovanna Alfieri González, Analy Soliz, Cristina Zacarías Flores, Monique Lomelí Canavaggio, Phegda Becerra Bustillo, Alma Andrea Meza Carmona, Liliana Rodríguez Saucedo, Claudia Delgado Munguía, Ana Girault Contreras, María Elena Bechelani Ánima, Eva Liliana Velasquez, Renata Aguirre, Samantha Leyva, Jennifer Rodríguez, Yoana Gutiérrez Vázquez, María Nefertari González Nuñez, Ximena Cardoso, Camila Villalvazo, Mariel Mátar Herrera, Mitzy Ruschke Lira, Giovanna de la Barreda Angon, Ruth Grosser Alcántara, Fabiola Peniche, Melissa Carolina Lizárraga Castro, Alejandra Delgadillo Salazar, Norhely Celaya Bracamontes, Yussihey Litzahally Vidal Celorio, Claudia Patricia Morato García, Areli García González, Marilú Acevedo Dominguez, María Carolina Estrada Fritz, and Roxana Reyes Herrera.
Spanish beauty queen Mireia Lalaguna, the Miss World 2015, crowned her successor Ana Girault who not only proudly adorned the crown but also got the right to represent Mexico Republic at Miss World 2016 finals. Besides the title winner, Andrea Meza was announced as the next Miss World Mexico 2017, and she will represent the country at Miss World 2017. Samantha Leyva from Guerrero was placed as the first runner up.
