Miss Grand Netherlands 2016 was held on June 5’ 2016 in Netherlands. Floor Masselink was crowned as the new winner at the end of the exciting finale by the outgoing Miss Grand Netherlands, Shauny Bult.
Four finalists were officially chosen to represent 4 different regions of Netherlands at the Miss Grand Netherlands 2016 pageant. They were selected after undergoing an intense casting that has been judged by the juries on the basis of their catwalk, dance, vocal pitch and interviews. A small ceremony has been organized by the “12 months of beauty”, the franchise holder of Miss Grand Netherlands and Miss Earth Netherlands, which was held in Amsterdam to select this year’s representatives.
The panel of juries included - Miss Grand Netherlands 2015: Shauny Bult, Miss Grand Netherlands 2014: Francis Everduim, Supermodel Netherlands 2016, Miss Supranational Netherlands 2013: Leila Aigbedion, and BaroQco Jewels owner: Eduardo Liem
The audience who was presented during the castings were - Enrique Vasquez (Eminent personality of Netherlands) Robin and Stefan the national directors of “12 Months of Beauty”. The 4 Finalists of the Miss Grand Netherlands 2016 pageant were Stephanie Omogun, 21, from Friesland, Leonie van Gaveren, 25, from Overijssel, Mellisa Rizos, 25, from Noord Brabant, Floor Masselink, 20,from Groningen.
Floor represented Netherlands at the upcoming Miss Grand International 2016 pageant which took place in the month of October in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
