The magnificent finale of Miss Grand Netherlands 2017, held on 26th March 2017, concluded with the crowning of 23 year old Kelly van den Dungen. Kelly succeeds Miss Grand Netherlands 2016 Floor Masselink, and will now represent Netherlands at the Miss Grand International 2017 pageant to be held in the month of October.
At the same pageant, Bente Vrieling was adjudged the first runner-up and Laura Ghobrial finished as the second runner-up.
Miss Grand Netherlands is an annual national beauty pageant held in Netherlands that selects representatives for the Miss Grand International pageant. The pageant comes under the franchise of “12 Months of Beauty”, which is run by Robin and Stefan, the national directors.
The official candidates this year were selected after undergoing an intense casting and the finalists were judged by the juries on the basis of their catwalk, dance, vocal pitch and interviews.

Miss Grand Netherlands 2016 Floor Masselink also spent time with the delegates, giving them tips and sharing her own experience with the girls. The coveted crown of Miss Grand Netherlands is brilliantly designed by ace Jewellery designer Eduardo Liem of Baroqco. He has crafted the crown using eye-catching emerald and Swarovski diamonds, which gives the crown a royal and regal touch. Inspired by the Miss Grand International crown, Eduardo also got some plentiful ideas from the old czarinas and Farah Diba’s crown.
