Miss Nicaragua 2016 (or Miss Universe Nicaragua 2016), was the 35th edition of Miss Nicaragua pageant, and was held on March 5’ 2016, at the Rubén Darío National Theater, Managua, Nicaragua. The contest was broadcast live on VosTV. A total of twelve finalists were selected from all over Nicaragua to compete at the finals.

The contestants (in alphabetical order were) - Bianca Gutierrez, Brianny Chamorro, Fabiola Rodriguez, Francela Gutierrez, Jahaira Rosales, Jeimy Lopez, Karla Luna, Katiuska Velez, Maria Jose Salazar, Marina Jacoby, Michelle Lacayo and Virginia Chow.

Marina Jacoby was crowned as the winner. At the same event, Brianny Chamorro was titled first runner-up, and Virginia Chow was adjudged second runner-up. Miss Nicaragua 2016 coronation event started with the 12 gorgeous beauties walking the stage. The pageant commenced with the introduction of the contestants, followed by swimsuit, evening gown competition and Q/A round.

Daniela Torres crowned her successor as Miss Nicaragua 2016 on the finals night. Marina represented Nicaragua at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.
