Miss Nicaragua 2017 (aka Miss Universe Nicaragua 2017 or Miss Universo Nicaragua 2017), the 35th edition of Miss Nicaragua beauty pageant was held on 25th March 2017 at the Rubén Darío National Theater (Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío) in Managua, Nicaragua. The finale was broadcast live on VosTV with simultaneous broadcast on Televicentro.

Twelve contestants who competed for the title of Miss Nicaragua 2017 were Kathering Medina (Guadalupe Medina Zeledón), Martha Soledad Meza Tercero, Allison Herrera, Danielle Hodgson, Berenice Quezada Herrera, Stefany Reyes, Helen Martínez Treminio, Vanessa Baldizón, Martha Renee Pineda, Raquel Bustos, Jeimy Lampson and Teresa Jeanette Moreno.

At the conclusion of the finale, Berenice Quezada Herrera was declared the winner and was crowned Miss Universe Nicaragua 2017. She represented Nicaragua in Miss Universe 2017 beauty pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Helen Martínez Treminio was declared the first runner-up and represented Nicaragua in Miss International 2017 beauty pageant held in Tokyo, Japan.

Martha Soledad Meza was declared the second runner-up and represented Nicaragua in Miss Grand International 2017 beauty pageant held in Phu Quoc, Vietnam.

Top 6 finalists also included Allison Herrera, Danielle Hodgson and Kathering Medina. Allison Herrera represented Nicaragua in Miss United Continents 2017 (Miss Continentes Unidos 2017), while Kathering Medina was Nicaragua’s representative for Miss Asia Pacific International 2017. Katherine was also placed in Top 15 at the finale of Miss Asia Pacific International 2017 held in Manila, Philippines.
