Miss Thailand World 2014 was held on June 21’ 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand. Maeya Nonthawan Thongleng, 22 year old singer, model and golfer was crowned Miss World Thailand’ 2014 at a glittering event. She was crowned by her predecessor Natalie Kanyapak Phoksomboon (Miss Thailand World 2013). Besides, she also won the Talent and Top Model fast track events.

At the same event, Venus Nanthachai was crowned the first runner up and Crattrika Sittipom was crowned the second runner up. Jackie Lawless and Wadchara Nakkasem were the other Top 5 finalists.

The highest placement of Thailand at Miss World was in the year 1989, when Prathumrat Woramali was titled as the third Runner-up. Till date, Thailand has managed two titles for continental queens in the year 1989 and 1992.
