The splendid finale of Miss Universe Thailand 2017 concluded on 29th July 2017, with the crowning of Maria Ehrenas the winner. Maria succeeds Miss Universe Thailand 2016 Chalita Suansane, and will now represent Thailand at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. 40 contestants competed for the title this year -

Miss Universe Thailand is a beauty pageant that has been held annually since 2000. Thailand has never won the coveted title of Miss Universe, however, last year, Chalita Suansane, managed to reach in top 6 and in the year 2015, Aniporn Chalermburanawong made it to the top 15 at Miss Universe pageant.
