Miss America 2018, the 97th Miss America pageant, will be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Sunday, September 10, 2017. The event will be broadcast by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC).
Miss America 2017, Savvy Shields, will officially crown her successor at the gala night. Contestants from different states will compete for the title. Every state organizes their own pageant to select the representative for the renowned contest i.e. Miss America 2018.

Miss America Organisation is a non-profit organization that controls and oversees the local, state, and national competition framework and hosts the annual Miss America Competition and telecast. Miss America is a scholarship pageant that is held annually and is open to women from the United States between the ages of 17 and 24.
