Miss Egypt is an Egyptian beauty pageant that selects and sends representatives from Egypt to Miss Universe and Miss World international pageants. The first ever Miss Egypt contest was held in the year 1929. Egypt won its first and only international crown in the year 1954, when Antigone Costanda was crowned Miss World 1954.
Miss Egypt 2014 open auditions are scheduled for August 27' 2014.
Prior to that, the last pageant held was Miss Egypt 2010 on July 7' 2010 when Donia Hamed was crowned Miss Egypt Universe 2010, and Sara EL-Khouly was crowned Miss Egypt World 2010. The first runner-up was Mira Khalil and the second runner-up was Asmaa Abdelmawgou.
