Miss Indonesia, also known as Miss World Indonesia, is an annual national beauty pageant in Indonesia that selects Indonesian representative for the Miss World pageant. Miss Indonesia was created by Liliana Tanoesodibjo in 2005 with the purpose to integrate Indonesian girls within a platform not only to show their beauty, but also their insights and attitudes so that "All Eyes are on You".

The first winner of the prestigious and coveted title of Miss Indonesia was Imelda Fransisca from Jawa Barat. She was sent to Miss ASEAN 2005 held also in Jakarta, Indonesia, in which she placed first runner-up to the eventual winner Jhezarie Javier from the Philippines.

Since 2006, the winner of Miss Indonesia has represented Indonesia at Miss World pageant, though Indonesia has not won any Miss World title till date.

Aspects that are used to assess each contestant varies from year to year.

In 2006: C2B2 - Beautiful (Cantik), Intelligent (Cerdas), Talented (Berbakat), Virtuous (Berbudi)

In 2007: BE SHE - Beautiful, Smart, Healthy, Eastern Value

From 2008 till now: MISS- Manner, Impressive, Smart, Social

The reigning Miss Indonesia 2014 is Maria Rahajeng who represented Indonesia at Miss World 2014 pageant, and was placed Top 25 at the finals besides amongst one of the five winners of 'Beauty with a Purpose. She will now crown her successor at the 2015 Miss Indonesia finals to be held on February 16' 2015.
