Miss Indonesia 2015 (also known as Miss World Indonesia 2015) was the 11th edition of the Miss Indonesia pageant, and was held on February 16' 2015 at Hall D2 - Jakarta International Expo in Jakarta, Indonesia. Maria Harfanti from D.I. Yogyakarta was crowned as the winner of Miss Indonesia 2015, defeating 33 other contestants.
Auditions for the selection of finalists were held in some big cities in Indonesia, including Bandung (October 18th & 19th at The Papandayan Hotel), Surabaya (November 9th at Majapahit Hotel), and Jakarta (November 22th at Patio Tribeka Central Park). Since Miss Indonesia didn't have local pageant, girls from provinces that don't have any audition usually come to another city and have their audition there.
After the auditions, thirty-four (34) finalists from all over Indonesia were selected to compete for the crown and also the right to represent Indonesia in Miss World 2015. Maria Rahajeng of Sulawesi Barat crowned Maria Harfanti as her successor at end of the The finale was graced by Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss from South Africa.
The jury for Miss Indonesia 2015 included Liliana Tanaja Tanoesoedibjo , Founder and Chairwoman of the Miss Indonesia Organization , Peter F. Saerang, makeup and hair stylist professionals, Noor Sabah Nael Traavik, wife of Norwegian Ambassador to Indonesia and Wulan Tilaar Widarto, Vice Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group.
