Miss Universe Malta is an annual national beauty pageant that selects representatives for the Miss Universe pageant. Established in the year 2016, the Miss Universe Malta pageant is organised by Glow Promotions. Before the Miss Universe Malta pageant, the representatives for Miss Universe were selected from the Miss Malta pageant.

Malta competed at the Miss Universe pageant from the year 1968 to 2001. Rosalie Theuma was the last Maltese representative to compete at Miss Universe. Alan J. Darmanin and Jeff Francalanza from Glow Promotions are the ones handling the selection for the delegates of Miss Universe Malta.

On March 30’ 2016, the franchise of Miss Universe was taken away from the Miss Malta Organisation, and in April 2016 Alan J. Darmanin and Jeff Francalanza from Glow Promotions took the Miss Universe license to send Maltese representatives to the international pageant.

Malta has never had any placement at the Miss Universe pageant, let alone winning the crown.
