The coronation night of Miss Universe Malta 2019 was held on 12th July 2019 at The Hilton Malta Conference Centre where Teresa Ruglio was crowned the new queen as she gained the right to represent Malta in Miss Universe 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Malta 2018 Francesca Mifsud.
From Sliema, Teresa is a 23-year-old Venezuelan beauty who moved to Malta way back 2016 and has been working on her dream to become a motivational speaker. Her court included first runner-up Nicola Grixti and second runner-up Nicole Mallia. Top 5 comprised of Sarah Camilleri and Rebecca Pace.
